SHA Educational Endowment Campaign

SUPPORT our STUDENTS!

In 2007, the SHA Board instituted a fundraising campaign to fully endow the Society’s annual student education awards. These include the Ed and Judy Jelks Student Travel Award, the Quebec City Award/Bourse de Québec, the Dissertation Prize, and the Student Paper Prize. This initiative strengthens our society for the long term.

Each year, part of the SHA’s annual budget is devoted to paying for these awards, which help to ensure the future of the field by assisting and recognizing students. This endowment and its future proceeds will be used exclusively for the SHA’s education-related activities.
