First of all, I look forward to seeing all of you in Boston in the next few days at what I think will be one of our largest conferences. Second, as a prelude to the conference I am asking you to take a few minutes to read the “Conference Code of Conduct” document that accompanies this email. We all recognize how important it is to create as safe a meeting as possible for all participants. Over the past six months, SHA leadership has worked to craft this document and the Board unanimously approved it earlier this month. I am asking all of you to familiarize yourself with this document prior to the meeting. I hope we have a safe and collegial meeting, but if you or a colleague are subjected to any form of inappropriate behavior I want all of you to know where to turn to.   If you have any questions or concerns about the content of the Code of Conduct document – or if you have suggestions for future modification please feel free to contact me.

See you soon in Boston!

Mark Warner
President, SHA
