Seeking Good Examples of Federal Actions Addressing Climate Change and Historic Preservation
The Advisory Council on Historic Preservation is seeking good examples of federal agency projects, programs, planning efforts, partnerships, and products addressing climate change and historic preservation in order to develop case studies and highlight best practices. These case studies will be shared and used in training and public education. Select case studies may be highlighted as excellent models in an upcoming ACHP policy statement on climate change and historic preservation.
To let us know about a project, program, plan, partnership, or product for consideration, please send a brief description to Judy Rodenstein (jrodenstein@achp.gov) by Friday, November 18th. Include the federal agency or agencies and other partners involved, the need being met, the timing and current status of the effort, and the impact to date. Provide the name, title, and contact information of the person(s) an ACHP staff member can follow up with for more information.
