Paul Mullins (1962-2023)

Dear SHA Members,

We want to share with you the sad news that Paul Mullins passed away on Sunday evening.  Paul was tremendously important to historical archaeology as a scholar, as a teacher, and as a leader of our organization. He was the first recipient of the John Cotter Award in 2000; he served as an associate editor for Historical Archaeology for over 20 years and was President of SHA in 2012-2013. Our thoughts are with his family, friends, and colleagues during this difficult time.
