The ACUA Graduate Student Associate (GSAs) Members are thrilled to announce a virtual panel discussion on careers in underwater archaeology happening on April 21, 2022 @7:00 - 8:00pm EST (11:00pm UTC). This exciting panel was originally scheduled for the SHA conference in Philadelphia back in January, but was cancelled due to covid-related travel issues. Yet, with every cloud there is a silver lining. Now, rather than the panel being restricted to those who could physically attend the conference, it is available to all! The GSAs are most excited about our esteemed panel, which represent a diversity of careers and employers, including federal agencies, museum operations, cultural resource management, and academia.

This event is open to all. Those interested in attending need only email grad-rep@acuaonline.org for the GoogleMeet link. Students and early career professionals are highly encouraged to attend. Panelists will be answering a variety of career/education related questions posed to them by the panel hosts. However, the GSAs fully welcome questions from the audience, which can be either submitted before the event (email all questions to grad-rep@acuaonline.org) or during the panel using the Meeting's chat function. For more information on the subject matter and the panelists, please see the attached flyer, or email grad-rep@acuaonline.org. We cannot wait to see you all there!
