Job Description
- Teaching at all three levels in archaeology programs;
- Ability to teach in North American historical archaeology;
- Ability to train students in the field and in the laboratory as part of a training site;
- Research and publications in North American historical archaeology;
- Ability to manage the training site laboratory;
- Working in an interdisciplinary context;
- Participation in the functioning of the department, the faculty and the university;
- Dissemination of knowledge outside of academia.
Selection Criteria
- Doctorate in archaeology or other discipline corresponding to the job description;
- Specialization in the study of material culture;
- File of publications in North American historical archaeology;
- Archaeological excavation experience;
- Assets will include: expertise in the historical archaeology of the northeastern United States, experience in supervising an excavation site, and teaching experience.
Terms
Salary according to the collective agreement in force.
