SHA Newsletter
The SHA Newsletter (Alasdair Brooks, Editor) is published quarterly in March, June, October, and December and distributed to all individual and organizational members. The newsletter contains society news, a range of topical columns, a current research section featuring historical archaeology news from around the world, announcements, and a calendar of events and other items of interest to members of the Society for Historical Archaeology. Short research items that may be too brief for Historical Archaeology are also sometimes included. The SHA Newsletter is published in an 8-1/2 by 11-inch format and averages about 40 pages per issue (Editorial Staff and Submissions).
Because of the length of each issue, the entirety of the newsletter is usually not made immediately available in an electronic format. Several columns and time-sensitive topics from the current newsletter, however, will be maintained here on the SHA web page. The SHA is currently in the process of making all of the back issues of the newsletter available on-line. These back issues (currently available through to 1999) may be found in the Newsletter Archive.
